NAME: Charlotte Eloise Wright
AGE: 25
BIRTHDAY: October 3rd
HEIGHT: 5'6"
EYES: Brown
HAIR: Brown
MARITAL STATUS: Single
TITLE: Daughter of Viscount Sherbrooke
CLASS: Aristocrat
FAMILY: Father- Matthew Wright; Mother- Abigail Wright; Older Brother- Nathaniel Wright ; Younger Sister- ?
PERSONALITY: Most believe she's shy until she begins to speak. Charlotte has a bad habit of becoming a bit too outspoken, sometimes without realizing, although she struggles to keep her opinions to herself most of the time because it is "not proper". This is why she prefers to write- she can express herself without judgement and only share her words with those she chooses to. Still, she is not without kindness, and is quite pleasant to spend time with.
FASHION: Charlotte usually lets her mother dress her in whatever latest fashion because she truly has no preference. She's usually in soft colors, like baby blue or lavender, with her long brown hair done in comfortable braids. She'll accentuate her attire with light, simple jewelry.
BACKGROUND:
- Born the eldest daughter of the Viscount Sherbrooke, Charlotte is the middle child after her brother, Nathaniel. Her mother, Abigail often fawned over her, but she was never overly spoiled.
- She was young when Nathaniel was sent away to live with their aunt in the country, and is still unaware of the horrors he had endured at the hands of Earl Kingston. When he returned home to stay, she was overjoyed, and has grown close to him in their recent years.
- Loves to write. Sometimes, an idea will come to her while she's in the middle of a conversation and Charlotte will have to immediately stop to jot it down (something that embarrasses her mother greatly). This is why she's rarely ever without her journal if she ventures outside the house.
- Both her parents support her wish to become a published author, so long as she has a "back up plan", such as a prominent marriage.
- Has held a grudge against Anthony Warwick since they were young. She was about eight years old when he called her a giraffe, telling her that "no boy wants to kiss a giraffe!" Even as lanky and awkward as she had been, she pushed him straight into the mud, never forgetting his taunts. Sometimes, she still wonders if she's possibly unattractive to men but doesn't let it eat away at her. She will still avoid him out in public and has thrown him a disapproving look a few times as well.
- A year ago, her best friend, Emmeline Barham, dared her to write a letter under a penname and leave it at the inn. Charlotte didn't expect to ever get a response from anyone, but a Mr. Crane wrote back, and ever since then, the two have conversed through letters weekly (using the inn as their own private post office). She found that she was sharing more about herself, her feelings, and dreams to a stranger far more freely than to anyone else. They both continued to keep their identities a secret, and she began to wonder what that butterfly-like feeling was in her stomach every time she received a new letter.
